Family Photo Fun!

I am so excited to be posting these photos! We had family pictures taken a month ago and I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this CD of pictures!  It was the perfect spring day! Johnny was all smiles and Olivia did great too!  Michael was a great sport, chasing kids and smiling on command! We had a ton of fun getting our pictures taken!

Happy Birthday Johnny Boy!

I can't believe our sweet boy turned one last week!  Has it really already been a year?? Where has the time gone??  I love this little man to pieces and so does his daddy and sister!  Johnny is such a sweet soul who brings love, laughter, and lots of fun to our days. He's an easy going guy just like his daddy!  We love you Johnny boy and cannot believe you are already one!  You are truly our gift from above!! Happy, happy first birthday!

For Johnny's first birthday we decided to throw a firefighter party.  We had a few cute pictures of Johnny taken in an old fashion firetruck that Scott and Suzanne gave us.  The party was so much fun and we enjoyed celebrating our little guy with our family and friends.  This momma was exhausted when the party ended, but had a lot of fun.  Thanks Aunt Jamie for taking all the great pictures!

 

Our Trip to Texas

Last week I was off for a week for spring break!  Michael was able to get some vacation time so we planned a trip down to Allen, Texas to visit my brother, Scott and his family.  Olivia was so excited to visit her cousins!

On the way down we stopped at McDonald's for a quick breakfast.  Olivia was in tears because she didn't want to go to McDonald's, she wanted to go to Texas! It was really so cute!  We made great time and arrived at the Texas Teson's house in time for dinner!  We had such a fun few days hanging out, playing games, going out to eat, shopping and going to the park.  Allen, Texas is such a neat area and we really enjoyed our time with Scott, Suzanne and the boys!  It was so cute how sweet the boys were with Olivia.  She was in heaven! Patrick, Luke and Joe treated her like their little princess, arguing over who got to sit by her at dinner, hold her hand, and read to her! They even let her sleep with their pillow pets! Andrew let Olivia sleep in his room for three nights and she was so excited!  We had such a wonderful time!  It's been 12 years since I've lived in the same city as my big brother and I miss him dearly!  I loved every minute of our visit to Allen! Thanks Texas Teson's! We love you all!

Happy Birthday Papa!

Today is Michael's dad's birthday!  We are so blessed to have a great father, father-in-law and Papa!!! Johnny and Olivia love their Papa and have such a neat relationship with him! Olivia tells us all the time that she is "Papa's pumpkin pie" and Johnny could sit on Papa's lap and read a book or play with a ball all day! We love you Papa! Hope your day was great!!

Johnny's 1st Haircut

Our sweet boy got his first haircut yesterday.  He has so much more hair than Olivia ever did at ten months!  He was looking a little shaggy so we went to see Mema!  Johnny sat still and hardly made a peep during his first haircut.  He was such a good boy and Mema did a great job.  Daddy helped hold Mr. Johnny and keep him happy.  Thank you so much Mema for making our little man look so good!

Michael, Olivia and Johnny sure made me feel special on my big day!  I cannot believe I am 33! Oh my word!!  Olivia sang to me all night long on my birthday!  It was just the sweetest thing!!  Here is a little video I taped.  I wish I could figure out how to make it go the correct way!  Sorry!

My Little Artist

Olivia is so into art these days!!  It starts as early as 7:00 a.m. most mornings!!  The minute we enter the kitchen she usually proclaims"I want to paint mommy!" or "Let's color together!"  She sits at the table and keeps herself busy for a good thirty minutes working away!  Our refrigerator is covered these days with her many masterpieces!
